Cinema Without Sight Film Festival

Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of The Braille Challenge®

The Cinema Without Sight contest seeks to inspire visually impaired youth to tap their own creativity and tell their own story through video. The video may be a fully scripted, acted and edited story, or simply a collection of images and scenes based on our theme: I am more than what I see. Either way, the goal is to tell a story from the perspective of a blind or visually impaired teen or young adult that shows that although a person may be blind, blindness doesn’t define them. The top entries will be premiered at The Braille Challenge Finals Awards Ceremony on June 26, 2010 and posted on both The Braille Challenge website and YouTube. The first place winner will receive a cash award of $1,000 at the ceremony, and he or she and three guests will be invited to Los Angeles.
